For more than 24 hours over one weekend, Damian Hall served as more than just a real estate agent. He took on the roles of director, photography advisor, producer, and even a horse wrangler. When it came to compiling photos and videos for his newest listing, Circle Creek Farm—a $22 million equine estate in Simpsonville poised to become South Carolina’s most expensive residential sale—Hall personally oversaw every detail.

“Not every successful and busy agent would dedicate an entire weekend to monitoring and ensuring we captured all the right angles and shots,” says Hall, lead agent of Damian Hall Group, an affiliate of Blackstream Christie’s International Realty. “Some might simply dispatch a photographer, but we directed every shot, ensuring we captured everything at both sunrise and sunset. It’s this level of commitment that truly sets us apart.”

This meticulous approach is undeniably one of the main reasons why Hall has been the No. 1 agent for Blackstream Christie’s for the past three years. It’s also why he was chosen to list Circle Creek Farm after the owner conducted five rounds of interviews and pitches with several prominent Upstate real estate agents. “It speaks to the trust sellers have in us,” Hall explains. “The seller is a highly successful individual, so we engaged him in discussions and incorporated his input into our marketing plan. It’s about having a good personality and listening to the client’s needs. He valued privacy, discretion, and his schedule had to be considered. We listened and respected his input.”

From the Upstate to the coast, Hall’s real estate roots run deep. Mentored by his grandmother, who owned an agency in Tryon, N.C., Hall developed a passion for real estate at a young age. By the age of 8, he had his own “office” in her home, surrounded by expired contracts and MLS binders predating the digital listing service. He obtained his real estate license while still a junior in college and began working for one of Charleston’s top agencies. By 2015, he had honed his focus on luxury properties in South and North Carolina.

In 2017, he established the Damian Hall Group and subsequently partnered with Greenville-based Blackstream Christie’s, affiliating with the Christie’s branch inAsheville, N.C. While his primary focus remains on Greenville, Lake Keowee, Tryon, Cashiers, and Highlands, the Damian Hall Group has recently expanded its presence into coastal real estate with a foothold on Hilton Head Island.

“We constantly strive to push the envelope, seeking out the next big thing that will make our properties stand out and gain exposure,” Hall asserts. “Having the Christie’s brand elevates our properties to another level altogether because Christie’s boasts worldwide connections.”

Whether listing a home for $2 million or $22 million, Hall and his team are committed to delivering what he terms “a Ritz-Carlton experience.” The group works with a concierge team that assists in arranging accommodations for out-of-town potential buyers, organizing dinner for owners who need to vacate their homes for showings, or catering to any other client needs.

“Whenever we have to inconvenience sellers by temporarily displacing them, we always try to accommodate them,” Hall explains. “Our team is readily available to provide complimentary assistance with staging, decluttering, and other preparations necessary to list their homes. These client-focused touches contribute to a stress-free process.”

At Damian Hall Group, this attention to detail permeates from the top down. Hall dedicates half a day to personally showing potential buyers around the expansive 54-acre Circle Creek Farm, concluding the tour with champagne and charcuterie on the back veranda. For the video shoot, he even rented a 1951 Rolls Royce to capture footage of the classic car rolling into the estate at twilight, its large round headlights illuminating the 16,000-square-foot home. 

No detail is too small, as every aspect is given careful consideration.
