How it lives

Five Forks is where buyers go for newer houses, larger lots and the Eastside's schools and shopping. Demand in the luxury tier here centers on the named neighborhoods above, and on the rare estate that sits on its own acreage with no HOA at all, which is what 1906 Jonesville Road is: more than three gated acres, two pools and a guest apartment, offered through us. It is the Greenville answer for the buyer who wants land and a new house without leaving the city's orbit.

  1. Early

    The airport, sixteen minutes

GSP is about sixteen minutes by our routing, the shortest run of any community on this site, which is why the relocating executive household keeps landing here. Downtown Greenville is about fifteen.

  2. Morning

    The errands

A produce market two minutes away, CVS and Walgreens at five, The Fresh Market and Publix at six. Prisma Health Patewood is ten minutes and Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville twelve.

  3. Midday

    The neighborhoods

Newer construction behind named entrances, some gated and some not, the Roper Mountain Road corridor, and the occasional acreage estate outside any HOA. Demand here centers on Cobblestone, Kingsbridge, Claremont and Southampton.

  4. Afternoon

    Who looks here

Executives relocating with a family and a flight schedule. We wrote the relocation brief, and the FAQ puts Five Forks beside Thornblade and Hartness on the Eastside list.

  5. What to weigh

    Drive, not walk

This is a car neighborhood by design. The trade for the lot size and the new build is that nothing here is a walk, and the trees are younger than the canopy in Alta Vista or Parkins Mill.
